“World of Sleepers”, from the World of Sleepers Album, is a song by a Swedish duo calling themselves Carbon based Lifeforms. The album mixes together deep and gentle beats layered with organic sounds and sublime messages of earth awareness.
The few words in this particular song for me, draws on the deep realization that western society is indeed “slowly crawling in the dark”; civilized humans are for the majority in a slumber, as if overdosed on generic sleep aids, unable to coherently adapt to the cries of an unhealthy planet.
Extreme poverty in desperate conditions is what is to be seen today throughout India. A Dr. wrote an article titled "Slow Poisoning of India" wherein he describes the conditions of the Indian agricultural system as it has been affected by chemicals over the last 40 years. It is slowly becoming a desert in parts and other areas where the land is with water you find disease of all kinds growing on the crops. The tragedy this has created is only the beginning of what is felt, as an after-shock, by the women. (See "RAYS of HOPE" my 9min. documentary)
Whatever you're truly committed to, is exactly what you'll achieve. Whatever you're truly committed to, determines the kind of life that you lead. Within you is a vision that longs to be brought to life. It's a vision that deserves your full commitment. Commitment to your most profound vision is not easy, and will ask much of you. Yet you know it is the best choice. Ralph Marston
"Soul Immortal" was a feature independent film project I had the opportunity to role as "Cinematographer" during 2007-2008. It was a very special project for me and one I feel compelled to share.
It was a unique process which took place in Poland and Czech Republic, and the basis of what I might like to call a "vehicle for interaction".
A lovely Austrian woman, Karin Heschl and her two children Aurelia and Aaron have been living in the Eastern countries for over 20 years. Karin and other western volunteers, such as Bruce Johnson and Anne Godfrey of Tapovan Homa Therapy Center, are very instrumental in the dissemination of information about Agnihotra & Homa Therapy, throughout India.
Karin's first remarkable personal experience using Homa Therapy in organic farming, occurred on her Homa farm in Austria during the 1980's, when the accident at Cherynobl Nuclear Reactor occurred.
The following is an account in her own words:
In 2004 while in Lima, Peru, I was introduced to Parvati Rosen-Bizberg and her husband Jarek Bizberg. Instantly I felt a connection to them and was invited to come to Poland, where they have a healing center.
Both Parvati and Jarek have been very instrumental in my self-development. It was the nature of my teacher, Shree Vasant Paranjpe to place me in situations with individuals who could provide proper spiritual guidance and support in the transitions I would go through, along the way. One such place where I spent many months over many years is Bhrugu Aranya Healing Center, Jordanow, Poland.
I spent several months living in Madison, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland, among some long time Homa Therapy practitioners, and in the places where our dear Shree Vasasnt Paranjpe was first instructed to come and teach Agnihotra, during the 1970's.
Madison Virginia, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is a beautiful quiet community of individual families, surrounding the first ever 'Temple' or place of fire. Parama Dham, (means house of Almighty Father), was established by Shree Vasant in 1973, a sacred place of fire and strict disciplines in maintaining the fire, gives the feeling of a very peaceful, healing environment. It is almost as if I could hear the sounds of mantra weaving between the trees and the surrounding nature.
In continuation of the deep healing process to restore mind, body and spirit, I returned once again to India. I was given the opportunity to travel with a young man from Venezuela, Juan Rodrigues, whom himself had volunteered in several countries and had over 12 years experience, with Homa Therapy, to travel to the desert of Rajasthan. I packed a bag, thinking I was going for only two weeks, but instead remained for almost 3 months. We traveled through 7 or 8 small villages near the border of Pakistan, where we experienced the most horrendous levels of skin disease I have yet to witness.
After spending 9 months in 2003-2004, traveling from region to region experiencing the powerful healing effects of Agnihotra, I returned
to the United States, but, the transformation had begun. The exposure to such incredible circumstances, both positive and negative completely changed my outlook, throwing me into a state of extreme bewilderment by all the happenings on our Planet. I no longer felt a part of the day-to-day and my goals started to change. Still, I made an attempt to re-settle into life in America, which lasted for about 11 months, when in June of 2005 I returned to India.
It's not uncommon to find that someone you know utilizes drugs to pass through the day-to-day, and for me this was once a way of life until 2003, when I chose instead to walk the tragic road of ultimate self-destruction, resulting in an instigated overdose. By instigated I mean that it wasn't the first time I forcefully, by pattern of behavior, ran into death. The last time, being the more successful of attempts, I am attributing to fate simply because I finally succumbed to leaving this world. It is only by Divine Grace that my life was saved, catapulting me into the most inspiring journey of discovery, realization and reconnection.
